Race report by Darren Styles
Sunday morning at Snetterton greeted the racers with a damp but drying track, the timed practice round got under way with tyre choice very simple as pit wets were the only way to go. This gave me the chance to lap my home circuit in the damp for the first time in age's.

Round 1
As the track was still largely damp I stayed with the wet tyre, some people chose to start on slicks (rp24 or cs22) but to me there was only one choice, after a sensible run in tricky conditions, I found myself in 5th place after this round.

Round 2
With a slight steady drizzle now coming down, the track became more greasy and nobody improved there times, so all eyes were on the sky and the weather for the final round of qualifying.

The track had started to dry now, as the heats went on the times began to come down, it was clear that it was all to be done in this round.for me the run was good, I had a fast car and a good tyre choice, my only concern being that the track would get faster for the following heats, a clear run with a couple of small errors (due to pushing hard) and I was rewarded with 2nd on the grid, the heats that followed looked faster but somehow were not.

Top 10
1. Chris Grainger
2. Darren Styles XRAY
3. Craig Drescher
4. Andy Robson
5. Matt White
6. Richard Barton
7. Ben Cosgrove
8. Adam Rogers
9. Olly Jeffries
10.Andy Moore

Final 1
With the track now dry, the race was run at a very fast pace, Chris Grainger got the drop at the start, but myself and Craig, ran him close all the way, after 2 minutes Craig got in front of me and started to close on Chris tis allowed me to follow and form a 3 car train, after getting held up by traffic near the end, myself and Craig got into our own fight for second (Chris had a small gap) as we crossed the line to start the last lap, I managed to nip past craig and held him off to take second.

Yet again Chris got ahead of me into the first corner, but this time there were 3 cars on his tail, after a couple of laps I tried to pass him on a left hand turn in the middle of the circuit, but to no avail, Olly Jeffries then got a run at me onto the straight, and Craig followed him through, we stayed in this order until the 4 minute mark when Andy Moore passed us all with his trademark horsepower, as we crossed the line Olly had faded to 5th place, leaving Chris out front, followed by Craig, Andy and myself.

Final results:
1st Chris Grainger
2nd Craig Drescher
3rd Darren Styles XRAY

Race report by Dewi Jones
Saturday Practice
Saturday dawned wet. This offered a great opportunity to do some wet weather testing. Which could prove invaluable at the remaining race meetings of the season as we head towards winter.

Qualifying 1

Round 1 gave us a damp but drying track to contend with. After setting off 6th we were up to third in the first two laps but the mistakes soon set in and at the end of the run we were demoted back down to sixth. With a time of 16 laps in 306.32. Which is a lap of our ultimate pace.

Qualifying 2
With a completely dry tack this time we set off into round 2. Starting sixth again i soon got into a rhythm which is vital round wrexham and started moving up the order. At the end of the run i was up to second. With a time of 17 laps in 311.36. This was an improvement and put us two seconds of the TQ man.

On new tyres. I set off into round 3. After following first place round for a couple of minutes he made a mistake and I was able to push a bit harder to take the TQ spot. After the five minutes I had managed to improve my time onto 17 laps in 306.56. This time also set a New track record for a 19t around Wrexham.

After a very good start on lap 1 the car snapped sideways coming on to the back straight and I clipped a curb and rolled. This demoted me down to tenth position. Through the next two minutes i managed claw my way back to fifth position. Then as i was chasing Fourth and third hard i clipped fourth position which made my car flip and brake the rear body post. This hampered me for the rest of the run which we ended up sixth.

Finishing Positions:
1st Chris Kerswell
2nd Steve Lisamore
3rd Mark Holloway
6th Dewi Jones XRAY T1FK'05

Overall this is what the top 3 looked like.
